Brother Oliver Brings World Record to Spartanburg

The psychedelic folk-rockers Brother Oliver are bringing their mandolin Guinness World Record to Spartanburg on Saturday (8/17) to perform downtown at the Fr8Yard.

The Upstate-based band is fresh off the heels of their new movie release of How To Break A World Record—an action packed documentary that follows their attempt to break the world record for ‘longest marathon playing mandolin’ (a feat that required the band’s mandolin player, Stephen Oliver, to play for over 27 hours straight).

The movie released this past June on Prime Video and Apple TV and the band has been touring across the Southeast to perform live and talk about their experience.

This Saturday night they return to the Fr8Yard in Spartanburg—world record plaque in-hand. The show begins at 6pm; find the full details here.
